The Big Idea : 

A home that fuses the functions of work and meditation into a homes appearance

Client Aspiration : 

As with most of the world, the work environment has shifted from office to home. Our client came to us to integrate their lifestyles into the home. Fusing work and meditation into one environment required a clever approach.

Our Guidance : 

Integrating the function of spaces together in the interior. The dark band of material represents work and the lighter materials represent meditation and sleep. The form of the home follows the function with the dark band which house the office, kitchen, living and dining room spaces inserting itself into the lighter elements of meditation and sleep. The communication of these two interior functions articulate the homes appearance on the exterior.
